Jeremy studied singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama with Dr Eric von Ibler and Elizabeth Izatt and subsequently went on to postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Music, where he studied with Ashley Stafford and Robin Blaze. He has taken part in masterclasses with many eminent singers and musicians including: Benjamin Luxon; Peter Schreier; Catherine Mackintosh; Robert King; Michael Chance and James Bowman, who described his voice as "like golden honey".
Jeremy has given recitals and been engaged as a soloist in many venues throughout the UK and abroad, including St George's Chapel, Windsor; Jesus College, Cambridge; Peterborough Cathedral; St Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh; St Anne's Cathedral, Belfast; St John the Divine, New York, and Stavanger Cathedral in Norway. Concert engagements have included: St John Passion Bach; St Matthew Passion Bach; Magnificat Bach; Messiah Handel; Israel in Eygpt Handel; Theodora Handel and Stabat Mater Pergolesi: his repertoire is extremely wide. Recitals include lute songs, songs and arias from across the Baroque and Romantic periods and contemporary works.
