Jeremy studied singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama with Dr Eric von Ibler and Elizabeth Izatt and subsequently went on to postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Music, where he studied with Ashley Stafford and Robin Blaze. He currently sings with the choir of Southwell Minster, having previously held similar posts at Peterborough Cathedral and St George's Chapel, Windsor. He has taken part in performances and masterclasses with many eminent musicians including Benjamin Luxon; Robert King; Michael Chance; James Bowman; Peter Schreier; The London Handel Orchestra and Charivari Agréable. His voice is notable for its natural quality, unforced and easy on the ear.

 

Jeremy is often engaged as a soloist and recitalist in venues throughout the UK and abroad, repertoire includes works such as Bach's St Matthew PassionSt John Passion and B Minor Mass; Handel's Messiah; Mozart's Vespers; Purcell's Come Ye Sons of Art and Bernstein's Chichester Psalms. Recitals include lute songs, songs and arias from across the Baroque and Romantic periods and contemporary works with a particular emphasis on English song.
